TERMS AND CONDITIONS

A tutor session form needs to be completed to book a tour. Your contract for your tour will be with one of our self employed tour tutors. Footprints Tours Ltd acts as agent for the tutor. Footprints Tours Ltd will allocate the appropriate number of those members as your tutor(s) to conduct your tour and these Terms and Conditions will apply. Your tutor session will be accepted when Footprints Tours has booked your tutor(s) and issued an invoice to you for your tutor session at which point and on which date the contract for your tutor session shall come into existence. For a pre paid tutor session, payment must be received for a session to be confirmed (this does not apply to a free introductory session or consultation). Please quote your invoice number when making payment. You may pay by one of the following methods: 1. By credit/debit card. We do not accept American Express or Diners Card. 2. By bank transfer. Please note that you will need to cover all the costs. Please use your invoice number as the reference.

Confirmation of tutor session

By completing the tutor session form, you agree that all written communications with you by Footprints Tours Ltd will be made by email to the address specified in your tutor session form. Tutor sessions will be confirmed by email after payment is received. Receipts will be sent only on request. Agents - please ensure you send a copy of these Terms and Conditions and the tutor session form to your group leaders.

Cancellation

If a tutor session is cancelled, after payment has been taken and the sessoin confirmed, we do not provide a refund for this payment. We work with a lot of students at Oxford, who will book out their time in advance to work with tutor sessions. For this commitment, we must ensure that we have work for them, and as such take full payment in advance, and do not operate a refund policy. We are also exceptionally popular, but only have a few Oxford student tutors with the qualities required to provide one of our tutor sessions. As such we will inevitably turn down other tutor sessions, to do this and then not have a tour to provide would not be a viable system for us to operate under. For a change of date and/or time where possible this will be made, subject to a reasonable proximity to the tour (maximum 7 days). A date or time change is subject to our availability.

Limitation of Liability

Except as set out in these Terms and Conditions, all warranties, conditions and other terms implied by statute or common law are, to the fullest extent permitted by law, excluded from this contract. Footprints Tours Ltd acts as agent for your tutor and it shall under no circumstances whatever be liable to you, whether in contract, tort(including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, for any loss or damage arising under or in connection with your tour. Nothing of this conditions shall limit or exclude liability of Footprints Tours Ltd for death or personal injury caused by its negligence. Out of request for the privacy of our guides, on our webiste, we will either use place holder images or change their names.

Complaints

Any complaint about a tour or your tutor should be made to Footprints Tours acting as agent for your tutor. Footprints Tours will handle the complaint on behalf of your tutor in accordance with its complaint procedures but as Footprints Tours acts only as agent for the tutors, it accepts no responsibility for the conduct of your tutorial.
